Raechel graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws in August 2012. After a break to travel overseas, in February 2014, Raechel graduated from the College of Law with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Raechel was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in August 2014 and the High Court of Australia in September 2014.

Prior to her admission, Raechel undertook work experience in government departments where she gained experience in Criminal Law, Family Law and Criminal Injuries Compensation Claims. Raechel has worked exclusively in Family Law since her admission, both in Perth and regional Western Australia.

Whilst Raechel has experience in all areas of Family Law, she is particularly interested in parenting proceedings. Raechel is an Independent Children’s Lawyer, and is on Legal Aid’s Independent Children’s Lawyer Panel. As an Independent Children’s Lawyer, Raechel is appointed by the Family Court to represent the interests of children in parenting disputes involving allegations of abuse, issues of mental health, addiction and family violence.

Raechel is a member of the Legal Aid Family Law Practitioners Panel and Dispute Resolution Panel and regularly receives Legal Aid grants to represent parents and other family members in child-related Court proceedings or Alternative Dispute Resolution Conferences held at Legal Aid.

Raechel’s compassionate and caring nature ensures that her clients feel well supported during one of the toughest experiences of their lives. Raechel’s vivacious personality assists clients in seeing the lighter side of things during the course of their family law matter.

Outside of work, Raechel enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, shopping, reading, cooking and travelling.
